2014

Les fondations

Fondé en Belgique par Frederic Desille et Jean-Michel Dever en 2014, TERMECA a pour objectif le développement de solutions à haute valeur ajoutée pour des lignes de production de l’industrie verrière, dont les étenderies pour verre plat. À l’époque, le bureau d’ingénierie réalise un premier partenariat avec des structures spécialisées dans les domaines thermique et mécanique.

En 2017, l’entreprise s’installe à Namur et engage des collaborateurs dans le domaine du dessin technique.

2018

TERMECA devient TERMECA CHOQUENET

2018 voit l’entrée de l’entreprise CHOQUENET dans le capital de TERMECA. Société familiale française, CHOQUENET est mondialement reconnu dans le domaine de la mécanique d’étenderie. Les ateliers français ont équipé un grand nombre de lignes de production de verre flotté à travers les cinq continents. Fort d’une excellente réputation sur le marché, CHOQUENET est la dernière entreprise qui dispose des connaissances, de l’ingénierie, de la fabrication et de la gestion de plus de 150 lignes de production de verre plat dans le monde. CHOQUENET est reconnu comme l’un des pères de la mécanique d’étenderie toujours en activité.

2014

En toute indépendance

Le bureau d’ingénierie se spécialise dans les techniques du formage et du refroidissement des rubans de verre dans la production de verre flotté. En toute indépendance, il conseille ses clients pour des réparations de lignes existantes avec des marques d’étenderies diverses et il propose son expertise dans la construction de nouvelles lignes de production avec une offre d’équipement et de service.

2014

The foundations

Founded in Belgium in 2014 by Frederic Desille and Jean-Michel Dever, TERMECA's goal is to develop high value-added solutions for production lines in the glass industry, including flat glass annealing lehr. At that time, the engineering company set up their first partnership with companies specialising in thermal and mechanical fields.

2017

Opening the first office

In 2017, the company became independent and relocated to Namur. In the same year TERMECA took on its first employees in the field of technical drawing.

2018

TERMECA becomes TERMECA CHOQUENET

2018 marked the arrival of the company CHOQUENET and the formation of TERMECA CHOQUENET. CHOQUENET, a French family-owned company, is world-renowned in the field of mechanical drives for annealing lehrs. The French workshops have equipped a large number of float glass production lines across five continents. With an excellent reputation in the industry, CHOQUENET is the last company to have the knowledge, engineering, manufacturing and management of over 150 float glass production lines worldwide. CHOQUENET is considered to be one of the fathers of the mechanical drives still in operation.

2018

Complete independence

The engineering company specialises in the forming and cooling of glass ribbons in float glass production. It provides independent advice for repairing existing lines with various brands of annealing lehrs and offers its expertise in the construction of new production lines with a range of equipment and services.

2019

A highly specialised team of experts

In 2019, TERMECA CHOQUENET set up its headquarters in a business park on the outskirts of Namur. We have a team of experts who have a perfect command of the process, automation and artificial intelligence and has many references from satisfied customers to prove it.

2022

Strong growth

TERMECA CHOQUENET continues to expand and has secured several turnkey orders. It is expanding its team with the arrival of new members of staff.
